From A Capella versions of Opera and Irish Music, Jazz to contemporary Rock songs, The Key Notes are one of the world's top close harmony groups. Puccini to Massive Attack, WB Yeats to Johnny Cash, we are equal opportunity harmonisers.
From intimate concerts in Ireland's top venues to entertaining 50,000 live on centre pitch (at The AVIVA Stadium, Dublin), The Key Notes can adapt their performance to suit any situation! Consisting of 5 Male voices, all members have considerable international performance experience in a diverse number of musical fields.Traditional Irish music fuses with jazz and opera to give an all encompassing musical experience. Their blend is superb as, although all operate as soloists, they have all in the past been part of top quality choral groups, such as the National Chamber Choir of Ireland and the choral group, Anúna.
The Key Notes have performed abroad and in all the country's top venues, with highlights including performances at The National Concert Hall Of Ireland, The RDS Concert Hall, The Gaeity Theatre, The RDS Arena, The Aviva Stadium, and Ireland’s National Theatre, The Abbey Theatre. They have performed frequently at music festivals (most recently The Big House festival in Kildare), with several members performing (in a barbershop quartet Capacity!) at festivals including Glastonbury, The Lake Of Stars Festival in Malawi, Electric Picnic and The Harvest Festival In Melborne and Sydney.
At home in Ireland, The Key Notes have appeared numerously on Irish Television and Radio, written, arranged and performed for advertisement jingles and movie soundtracks, and were delighted (and shocked) to even manage to grace the front cover of a monthly magazine! As Solo artists, they are all very accomplished singers, as you will see from the short biographies below, and have performed on the great stages of the world from The Royal Albert Hall, to The Great Hall of The People, in Beijing. They have performed for, and alongside some of the worlds great artists with fans ranging from the great Placido Domingo to Dublin's own Ross O Carroll Kelly.
